Rob Johnson (craftbeerguy) from The Beer Connoisseur talks about our favorite hangout and the popular Headhunter IPA. Headhunter IPA is brewed at the new Fat Head’s Saloon and Brewery in North Olmstead, Ohio. It’s quckly become one of the most popular beers at tap at FHs here in Pittsburgh.

Rob does a much better job describing the beer than I would, so check out his article here:

Headhunter IPA and Fat Heads

Cheers!

Drinking the numbers…

Mark “Beer Czar” Saucier was kind enough to crunch some numbers regarding the Fat Heads beer rotation as well as Beer Camps weekly and monthly consumption. It leads to to some pretty impressive numbers. By Mark’s calculations:

How many beers?

As you can see, that provides a TON of beers to taste and enjoy throughout the year. Although some beers may be repeats, the majority of the beers we taste are “one-offs” or new releases. Glenn does a fantastic job of opening new relationships with great brewers and the beer campers provide beers that aren’t available in PA. If you enjoy craft beers you owe it to yourself to come down to camp on Saturday’s.

And as Mark says:
“Si nos haven’t drank is it’s non quoniam nos haven’t exertus.”

Whatever the hell that means!

*These numbers are all rough estimates, don’t do the math, it’ll hurt your brain.
